Buddy the Dog needs a home

Our senior "Buddy" is SUCH cutie patootie- BUt in his 31 days with us, not ONE person has come in to see him. Weve even suggested taking a look to anyone looking for a smaller dog, but all Buddy keeps hearing is " But he's OLD".


Sure, Buddy may be 11 Years YOUNG, but you can teach an old dog new tricks. Buddy ended up in the shelter after his owenrs health was failing- but despite this HUGE lifestyle change- Buddy has totally kept a positive outlook! His eye sight may be a little less than perfect working condition- but he sure still loves to show off his happy danc and sniff out cookies! This rolly, polly, chunky monkey is hoping there is SOMEONE out there that can open their heart to A spunky senior! If you think you can help Buddy find a soft place to land- let us know! We are SET on making sure this guy gets out of the shelter!


The adoption fee for all animals, adopted from the Habersham County Animal Shelter, is $110.  The price of the adoption includes:


Dogs: spay or neuter, microchip and registration, rabies vaccination, DHLPP vaccination, Bordatella vaccination, SNAP Heartworm Test, deworming and one month of complimentary, catastrophic, insurance.


Cats: spay or neuter, microchip and registration, rabies vaccination, FVRCP vaccination, FeLV/FIV Combo Test, deworming and one month of complimentary, catastrophic, insurance.

We are proud of our new "Play Area" for the Dogs! We encourage adopters to bring their current dogs if looking to add a new fur-member to their family so we can help you pick the right new pet for everyone in the household! Dogs can now interact with potential family members off leash in our "Adoption Pavilion"!
